Show of talent on catwalk

Models wear clothes designed by students at Birmingham City University

FASHION stars of the future have been showcasing their work in Birmingham with their designs on the catwalk.

More than 20 students from Birmingham City University saw their ideas under the public spotlight in the fashion shows at Thinktank at Millennium Point.

Forming part of the city’s New Generation Arts Festival, the shows featured plenty of colour, innovation and cutting edge design.

From gold mini skirts through to New Romantic shirts, softly tailored leather through to knitwear and stark black through to fuchsia.
