Schoolboy in fight for life

A SCHOOLBOY was fighting for life in hospital after being knocked down in Birmingham city centre today.

The 12-year-old was in Priory Queensway when he was hit by a car at 7.50am.

A police spokesman said the youngster had been taken to hospital with serious injuries. “They are believed to life-threatening,” he said.
