BIRMINGHAM drivers were caught up in delays when a bus collided with a pensioner during rush hour traffic today.

It happened on Chester Road, near the Spitfire Island, Castle Vale, at around 8am.

Police said the woman pensioner was clipped by the bus but was not seriously injured. She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
