A BRITISH couple rescued near the Bermuda Triangle after drifting for 40 days at sea were heading back to the UK today.

Stuart Armstrong and his partner Andrea Davison said they “stared death in the face” during the ordeal which began after their yacht’s rudder broke 1,200 miles from Antigua.

They decided to continue their voyage using a temporary rudder and spent nearly 40 days drifting before they were forced to call rescue.

The couple revealed the most dangerous part of their ordeal was the rescue.
