Weoley Castle family evicted after six-year abuse campaign

Family from hell?

HE next-door neighbour of the Wilkins family suffered more than most as the judge acknowledged that there had been a “targeted campaign against her”.

Sissy Hee was forced to send her son back to China because of the abuse they both suffered.

The problems started in July 2007 when Miss Wilkins’ daughter and her friends started throwing water bombs at her house.

Miss Hee approached Miss Wilkins and received a barrage of foul-mouthed abuse.

In the months that followed somebody painted her window white, rubbish was constantly thrown into her garden, her walls were banged in the middle of the night and the family shouted that she was a “Chinky prostitute”.

Adam was also convicted in the criminal courts for burglary when he broke into her house.

In giving evidence to the court, she said: “It was the first house that I have bought. But there has no basic normal life for me.

“My son came to live with me, but I had to send him back to China to live with his grandfather.

“He was nine, but he slept with me because he was so scared. It broke my heart to send him away and now I live on my own. I miss him.

“I feared for my safety, they would call me names and throw stones at me.”
