Birmingham exhibition features artist Stephen Morris's Scilly scenes

AN EXHIBITION featuring the work of a Midland artist opens at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham tomorrow

Stephen Morris will be present for the launch of Scilly Seasons, a collection of his colourful pastel-based paintings of picturesque countryside settings and coastal views, tomorrow.

The 51-year-old artist grew up in Solihull, but he became so enamoured with the peace and tranquillity on the Isle of Scilly, where he spent many childhood summers, that he decided to join his uncle Frank and his sister Gwen in moving there to live.
