She also admitted failing to disclose previous convictions on her work application and breaching a suspended sentence she received after stealing from another employer.
Today at Birmingham Crown Court, Hunt was sentenced to 14 months in prison for the crimes.
After the hearing, Detective Chief Inspector Simon Wallis, of West Midlands Police Economic Crime Team, said: "This lady had abused the trust of her employer and stole a substantial amount of money. She was happy to leave a cloud of suspicion over other employees at the restaurants and skip bail to Spain.
"The tenacity and fairness of the officer tasked with locating her has resulted in this successful sentence. We gave her every opportunity to surrender herself but she declined.
"It is also key to note the response we had from Spain following the publication of her picture on the Most Wanted Crimestoppers website.
"We are grateful to the Spanish police for their help and look forward to working with them again should similar circumstances present themselves."
