AN IT co-ordinator who used a company-issued credit card for personal expenditure was warned by a judge to expect jail.
Aaron Mark Hobin aged 27, of Marlene Croft, Chelmsley Wood, pleaded guilty to a charge of fraud at Warwick Crown Court.
The charge detailed that, while working as an IT co-ordinator for Speedy Hire plc, Hobin had abused his position of trust by misusing his company credit card to settle £3,292 worth of personal expenditure while sick leave.
Judge Trevor Faber adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on Hobin, who was bailed, but warned him: “This was a gross breach of trust. You stole a relatively large sum of money and, of course, any judge will be considering a custodial sentence.”
