Tribute to Birmingham crash death dad

“James had become a real family man.

“He would do anything for his two kids or Danielle.

“They are all struggling to come to terms with what has happened.

“He was so proud to have bought a house for his family to grow up in.”

James fell off the motorbike on Timberley Lane, in Shard End, on July 22.

He died of his injuries early the following morning in hospital.

An inquest into the death has been opened and adjourned. He had been in a relationship with 25-year-old Danielle for eight years.

She said: “He was the perfect father and he worked so hard for his family.”

Gary Dickinson, commercial manager for Wates at Chelmsley Wood, said: “James was a popular and highly valued colleague.

“He was a smiling face and is very much missed by the team. Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre and the Wates team wanted to commemorate his life and contribution to the area with a plaque.

“He took such a pride in his work on the construction of this prestigious development.

“He won’t be forgotten.”
