Eight in court over Birmingham car clamping activities

SEVEN men and a woman have appeared before Birmingham magistrates charged with illegal car clamping activities.

Phillip Bennett, 33, of Emily Road, Yardley, Gary Southall, 48, of Moseley Street, Digbeth and Victoria Charlton, 43, of Heatherdale, Moseley, are all accused of conspiracy to demand money from motorists with menaces between December 2007 and July this year.
