Hunt launched after pair seen firing gun shots in Aston

THUGS with guns were seen brazenly firing into the air in a Birmingham road.

Police spotted the thugs firing shots from a semi-automatic pistol in Witton Road, Aston.

The incident happened at 9.30pm on October 13.

It was thought the shots may have been fired at a petrol station in the road, although detectives do not believe it was a targeted attack.

The offenders ran off along Norris Road before they doubled back onto Witton Road and gave police officers the slip.

They were both described as black and in their late teens.

The gunman was said to have been muscular and wore a black hooded top.

His accomplice was slim and had short dark hair and wore a light coloured top, which was believed to have possibly been grey.
