DOZENS of new jobs will be created when a hotel chain opens its new central reservations office in the city centre.

Jurys Inn will be opening a new central reservations office at its hotel on Broad Street this week.

The office will be open seven days a week and will create 60 jobs, including 44 central reservation agents, who will take phone bookings and room enquiries for all of Jury’s hotels throughout the UK and Ireland.

As well as the new jobs created through this expansion sees members of the Jury’s team relocating to Birmingham.

Derek McDonagh, general manager of Jurys Inn, Broad Street said: “I’m delighted that Jurys Inn have decided to open their new central reservations office here.”
