A BIRMINGHAM teacher caught with porn on his school laptop has avoided being struck off.

Recordo Gordon downloaded so many lewd videos and images on the laptop that it developed a virus, a disciplinary hearing heard.

The indecent footage was discovered by staff at Broadway School in Perry Barr after he took it to a technician for repair.

Gordon, of Anderton Road, Aston, also uploaded indecent images of himself to the work’s computer, the hearing was told.

He did not attend the General Teaching Council conduct hearing in Birmingham, but submitted a written admission.

Gordon pleaded guilty to accessing and storing inappropriate websites and images on the school laptop, but denied it amounted to unacceptable professional conduct.
