HOLLYWOOD star David Harewood is returning to the scene of his greatest triumph – the school where he won the 1981 football under-16 championship.
Harewood, from Small Heath, starred alongside Leonardo Di Caprio in the 2006 war film Blood Diamond among his many roles on the big screen.
And the 44-year-old is set for another star turn when he returns to the Second City for a reunion of former Washwood Heath School pupils.
But the actor is not the only luminary to have passed through the school in the late 70s and early 80s for he will be joined at the bash by ex-professional footballers Ian Taylor and Julian Dicks.
All three represented the football team with Harewood, brother of Blackpool striker Marlon, in goal for the side which won the U16 All-England Championship in 1981.
Former Villa midfielder Taylor and ex-Blues hardman Dicks were part of a younger team which won the Blues Cup in 1981.
