BRRR! It’s official – snow is on the way to the Midlands from today.
Temperatures in Birmingham will drop to a maximum of 2C or 3C today and no more than 1C or 2C tomorrow.

The amount of snowfall is likely to be between 2cms and 3cms today or tomorrow.
And forecasters said the cold conditions would hang around for the next ten days.
Dave Britton, from the Met Office, said most snow would fall in the north and east of the Midlands.
He said: “We will see the weather turn much colder through the next couple of days.
“Most of the snow is going to be confined to the north and east of the Midlands, although there is a low risk of snow extending to parts of the West Midlands through today and tomorrow.
“It is not a sure thing as snow is quite difficult to forecast. But we know it will be colder and we shouldn’t be surprised if we see some snow.
“There is a large area of low pressure and winds coming from the north east and the north bringing much colder conditions than we would see for this time of year.”
The mercury is set to drop from an average temperature of 6.5C for Birmingham at this time of year.
Potential snow showers were predicted today with bright and sunny spells for the rest of the week.
