COLOURFUL Birmingham MP John Hemming has admitted he may cheat on his wife once more.

The Liberal Democrat millionaire, who has spent the past 11 years dividing his time between his wife Christine and girlfriend Emily Cox, said he didn’t want to be a monk.

Asked whether he would stay on the straight and narrow in future, the Yardley MP said: “I am not particularly trying to have affairs.

“But I’m not going to say how I am going to live my life over the next 40 years. "

Mr Hemming, aged 50, has had a colourful love life and once voted himself Love Rat of the Year in a newspaper poll.

First elected to Westminster in 2005, he hit the headlines almost immediately after admitting an affair with Miss Cox, a Birmingham city councillor.

She had his baby, Isabel, who is now four.
