AN ORGANISATION which supports bowel cancer patients has received a £4,400 funding boost thanks to a Solihull department store.
John Lewis Solihull held a number of events including a cycle ride and a concert to raise the cash for its charity of the year – Beating Bowel Cancer.
The donation has gone towards the overall total of £343,000 raised by John Lewis Partners.
The money raised will help Beating Bowel Cancer grow its support services for bowel cancer patients and their families, and help to raise awareness of the disease, ensuring more lives are saved from the UK’s second biggest cancer killer.
