Celebrities send messages of hope as Sheldon brain tumour boy's condition worsens

A SELFLESS Birmingham boy who battles to help others despite an incurable brain tumour has taken a turn for the worse, sparking concern from a host of celebrities.

Defiant 11-year-old Harry Moseley was operated on for life-threatening hydrocephalus, also known as water on the brain, this week, when doctors also discovered his tumour was growing.

An army of celebrity fans, including England footballers John Terry and Rio Ferdinand, TV presenter Ben Shepherd and Dragons’ Den star Duncan Bannatyne, all sent messages of hope through Twitter, for Harry to read in his hospital bed.

Plucky Harry, from Sheldon, tweeted back from Birmingham Children’s Hospital: “There’s stitches in my belly and stitches in my head. Don’t worry bout me cus I’m resting in my bed. Love u twitfam with all my heart bye.”

Tearful mum Georgina, aged 36, who is holding a bedside vigil with Harry’s dad Darren, 39, and siblings Danielle, 17, and Louie, 14, said: “Harry has been getting headaches for six weeks and it turned out to be hydrocephalus.
