A CHARITY worker appealed for urgent donations after much of the stock at his Birmingham shop was destroyed in an arson attack.
Police are investigating the blaze which ripped through the YMCA outlet in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield.
Footage from external CCTV cameras behind the shop showed a gang setting fire to furniture and wood being stripped from the roof.
But the images were not clear enough to identify the arsonists who struck at about 3.20am last Sunday.
Assistant manager Kenneth Goodwin said it was not an isolated incident at the shop, which was ransacked by burglars shortly before he joined six months ago.
The 21-year-old, from Erdington, added: “We urgently need clothes because they were all destroyed.
