New Alexandra theatre audiences dig deep for Acorns Children's Hospice

THEATRE-goers in Birmingham dug deep into their pockets to support Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Birmingham actor Dave Willetts appealed to audiences after each performance of Legally Blonde the Musical at the New Alexandra Theatre. And a bucket collection raised £10,500 over the two-week run.

Theatre general manager Kim Gladston said: “I have been totally overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers despite these hard times and it really is such a great response to a very worthwhile cause.

“This is the second year we have raised funds for Acorns but this year we have seen an even more rewarding response.”
