FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a Birmingham recycling factory.

Crews were called to Premier Waste Ltd, on Walsall Road, Perry Barr, just before 9.30pm on Thursday after a pile of plastic waste caught fire.

Machines were used to transfer rubbish outside the plant. No-one was hurt during the incident.
