Man rescued from bedsit fire
A MAN was rescued by firefighters today after a small fire broke out in his bedsit.
Crews from West Bromwich and Oldbury were called to a property in Bromford Lane, at around 1.30am.
Clothing fell on to an electric fire and caused smoke logging throughout the bedsit.
A man, aged in his 40s, was led to safety by firefighters and treated for minor smoke inhalation.
