Antonio Boparan Singh parents worth £130m from chicken empire

Antonio Boparan Singh with dad Ranjit.

THE court heard that Antonio Boparan works for his parents, Ranjit and Baljinder, and that he borrowed his mum's car and was not driving his own Audi A3 when the crash happened.

He works for the company firm, Boparan Holdings Ltd, which is best known as its trading name as the West Bromwich-based Two Sisters Food Group.

It supplies chicken to big UK supermarkets like Marks & Spencer and Tesco and has a turnover of more than £350 million.

The Buxted brand it sells has helped Antonio's parent's feature in the Daily Telegraph's "made it by 40" list and the Sunday Times Rich List with an estimated £130 million fortune.

The group employs more than 3,000 people.
