Boy hurt in dog attack

A TEENAGE boy has been hurt in a dog attack in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Ashbourne Road at 7.20pm yesterday.

An ambulance service spokesman said: "The 13-year-old had suffered puncture wounds to his chest, a severe injury to his arm and bites to his abdominal area.

"The crew quickly got the boy onto the ambulance and started dressing his wounds before taking him to New Cross Hospital.

"The youngster was remarkably calm and very brave."
