West Bromwich Albion players banned from signing autographs
The club said it had taken advice on the issue from other clubs and that matchday signings would still be allowed, along with weekly autograph sessions.
“The club also employs a weekly signing system where supporters can get items signed for a small administration charge,” the club spokesman said.
“Hundreds of fans were able to get autographs and have photographs taken with the Albion first-team squad at an extended signing session at the club’s recent Open Day.
“The club took advice from a number of other clubs who operate a similar policy.”
