Major chemical spill in Dudley
PEOPLE in Dudley were advised to stay in their homes after a major chemical spill.
Fire crews were called after a drum was discovered leaking near drains in Hollyhock Road just before 7.30pm last night.
Specially trained crews were brought in to contain the spill and prevent it leaking into drains. The drum was then put in plastic wrapping to prevent any further contamination.
No one was injured in the incident.
