Blaze at Wolverhampton nursing home

FIREFIGHTERS guided two residents to safety after a blaze at a Midland nursing home.
The fire at the two-storey home on Penn Road, Wolverhampton, broke out at 10pm yesterday.
It took six firefighters nearly an hour to extinguish the fire in the laundry room on the ground floor, before clearing the building of smoke and allowing the occupants to return.
