COMEDIAN Frank Skinner has revealed that he is becoming a dad – at the age of 55.

The popular funnyman, from West Bromwich, is back on the nation’s TV screens hosting BBC One’s Room 101 on Friday nights.

But he used his Saturday morning show on Absolute Radio yesterday to tell the world his long-term partner Cathy Mason is pregnant.

Skinner, who also celebrated his birthday yesterday, said: “I have something of an announcement to make.

“I’m going to be a father. I haven’t really spoken about it to anyone, but I thought, you know, as you’re my radio family.

“Well, you know, I feel that the people who listen to this show, what is there, 30 of them?

“I feel that they’re intimates of mine rather than audience members.”
