Man held over woman's death
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 19-year-old woman.
Police were called to an address in Farnworth, Bolton, on Saturday morning following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Officers and ambulance crews attended the scene at Moss Street and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment. She later died in hospital.
The 21-year-old man was arrested in the West Midlands on Saturday night and is being transported back to Manchester for questioning.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said inquiries are continuing.
