BNP wants membership leak probe
The far-right British National Party said that it had asked police to investigate after its entire party membership list was published on the internet.
The party's deputy leader Simon Darby claimed that the release of the 2007 membership list contravened data protection and human rights legislation.
He said that BNP leader Nick Griffin had reported the leak to his local police in Dyfed-Powys.
Mr Darby said that earlier this year the party obtained an injunction from the High Court in Manchester banning any publication of the list.
