Man shot dead by police
A man has been shot dead by armed police, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said.
The man was killed at around 3pm on Sunday after officers responded to reports of an armed man in Guildford, Surrey, the IPCC said in a statement tonight.
Investigators from the IPCC have arrived at the scene, the spokesman added.
