Five killed in M1 accident
Five people were killed after a head-on car crash on the M1 motorway, police have said.
A VW Passat apparently going the wrong way up the southbound carriageway near Luton smashed into a Jaguar, Bedfordshire Police said.
A spokesman for the force said the driver of the Passat and four people in the Jaguar - two men and two women - were pronounced dead at the scene.
