Fatal shooting 'was gang related'
The fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man is thought to be gang related, sources said.
Police were called to Nugget Street, in the St Mary's area of Oldham, at 10.30pm on Friday to reports of a man with gunshot wounds.
The injured man was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, where he later died, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said.
Nobody else is thought to have been injured and no arrests have been made.
