UK couples found safe after quake
Relatives of two British couples caught up in the devastating earthquake in Chile have spoken of their relief as it emerged they are alive and well.
Concern was mounting for Andre Lanyon and Laura Hapgood, from Guernsey, as well as Kirsty Duff and Dave Sandercock, from Scotland, who failed to contact home after the disaster, which killed more than 700 people.
But their families have now been put out of their misery as the two couples rang home after reaching the Chilean capital Santiago.
