Solihull Council urges people to take part in consultation on how to spend adult learning money

SOLIHULL Council is encouraging residents to take part in a national consultation which will help decide how public money for adult learning is spent.

The consultation focuses on informal adult learning courses such as computing, photography, languages and arts and crafts to find out what subjects people are interested in, how they would like their learning to be organised, payment and fees, and how they want to be involved in planning learning.

Councillor Ian Courts, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, said: “If you are looking to take up a course in the future it’s really important that you have your say in the consultation. Your views will help decide what opportunities will be available for adult learners in the future.”

The consultation closes on October 31 and can be completed by following the link on www.solihullforsuccess.com/learning
