Market Research Company DisplaySearch have published their end of year report on the state of the television set market, reporting a 2% overall increase in television sales over the fourth quarter of 2009. LCD TV sales saw the biggest boost over the course of the whole year with a massive 50% increase in sales, while Plasma TV sales increased by just 6%, and sales of televisions using the the fledgling OLED technology dropped by a third overall in spite of a 193-percent growth between the third and fourth quarters.Read
