Armed robbery at travel agents

DETECTIVES are hunting an armed robber who threatened staff in a travel agents with a gun before stealing cash.

He walked into Harvey's World , in Market Street, Lichfield, and went to the bureau de change, at 12.20pm last Friday.

Then he demanded money from the cashier and threatened her with what is believed to be a handgun. The gunman escaped with a large sum of cash.

He is described as olive skinned, of eastern European origin, aged between 30 and 40, of stocky build with brown eyes. Anyone with information can call police on 08453 302010 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
