Woman, 38, crash tragedy
A WOMAN was killed in a car crash on a Midland road.
The 38-year-old from Cannock died after an the accident in Stafford, at around 1.15am this morning.
She was driving a silver Peugeot 206 on the A34 Cannock Road, half a mile from Pottal Pool roundabout, at its junction with Broadhurst Green Road.
No other cars are believed to have been involved. The road was closed for five hours while investigations were carried out.
The victim's identity was not released until police had informed relatives.
