Lord Mayor green light
Birmingham's first Irish Lord Mayor, Coun Mike Nangle, will open the St Patrick's Day festivities in Erdington this Saturday.
The day includes Irish dancing, folk music, street entertainment and fancy dress competition.
Special guests include the Kilrush School of Irish Dance, folk duo Jim Meehan and Pete Russell, Claret Folk Group, Chris Peskett, juggler Jack Warner and the Jug of Punch Folk Club and Erdington MP Sion Simon.
Erdington High Street will be closed off until 5pm.
