"Most of the village came out for the day. It was sponsored by the parish council so we didn't have to charge and it was fantastic."

Members of the women's institute and a writers group put out stalls for the day as fun-seekers flocked in. l Thousands of bikers descended on leafy Warwickshire over the weekend for the annual Bulldog bash.

The three-day show, which finished yesterday, at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-upon-Avon, is in its 19th year.
