TEENAGER Chloe Miller's talent was last on show in front of millions on national TV and now the youngster will be taking centre stage in a Solihull production.

The teenager last appeared on ITV's reality show Rock Around the Block when her whole family learned how to be rappers in a bid to win £5,000 cash.

Now the Kings Norton youngster will be taking the spotlight all on her own in a production of Dick Whittington next month.

Chloe, her mum Trudy, dad Gary and brother Mitch had to rap to Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back in front of a crowd of strangers and bagged the huge cash prize for their efforts.

Now Chloe is hoping for similar success in her first acting role and wants to enrol in a performing arts school after her GCSEs in a bid to become an actress.

Chloe, who attends Kings Norton Girls School, said: "I am really looking forward it. It is going to be really fun. I was really shocked when I got the part because I didn't actually go for that role. I am a bit nervous though and I am just hoping I don't mess it up.

"I really enjoyed being in Rock Around the Block, it was a great experience. Although when I first found out we were going to be on it, I wanted to kill my brother for entering us."

The production, by Birmingham-based dance company Youth Onstage, will be staged at the Dovehouse Theatre, Solihull, from November 16-19.

The theatre company is looking for new members and will be holding an open day at the Ladywood Arts and Leisure Centre, in Monument Road, on December 4.
