Tributes to car crash schoolgirl

Jenny Willis

THIS is the first picture of teenager Jenny Willis, 15, who was killed in a crash on a busy Birmingham street.

She was hit by a Nissan Almera car near a sharp corner on Dad's Lane, Stirchley, at 5.50pm last Tuesday.

Flowers, cuddly toys and this picture now adorn a lamp post near the scene of the tragedy, visited by a stream of friends and relatives.

One message read: "Rest in peace my little angel. We will never forget you."

Jenny, from Kings Heath, attended Swanshurst School, in Brook Lane, Billesley. She previously went to Colmore Junior School, Colmore Road, Kings Heath.

Jenny suffered multiple injuries in the accident and later died in hospital. The car driver, a 39-year-old woman from Edgbaston, was interviewed by Billesley traffic police.

Any witnesses to the tragedy should call police on 0121 626 4187.
