Digger firm to start military production
STAFFORDSHIRE-BASED digger firm JCB has moved beyond traditional construction vehicles for the first time to develop two high-speed military trucks.
The High Mobility Variable Reach Truck and High Mobility Utility Vehicle will make their debuts at the UK's Defence Vehicle Dynamics exhibition this month.
JCB secured a £75m contract with the US army for the vehicles last October.
