Garden furniture taken in pub raid
THIEVES stole eight garden chairs, two wrought iron tables and two distinctive yellow parasols worth more than £1,000 from an historic pub near Droitwich.
Police today appealed for witnesses to the theft at the Bowling Green Inn, Hadley Heath.
A West Mercia police spokesman said: "With the number and weight of the items stolen a reasonably large vehicle would have been needed."
