Plea over body in road riddle
A MAN whose body was discovered on the Redditch ring road was named today as Anthony Chambers.
Police are currently treating his death as "unexplained" and a post mortem was being carried out today.
Police said the body of Mr Chambers, aged 45, of St George's, Redditch, was discovered on the ring road near a car wash at 6.30am yesterday.
Officers closed the ring way sparking traffic chaos.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said: "We are appealing to anyone with information to contact us urgently on 08457 444 888."
