Morgan magic for feast of farm fun

CLASSIC car enthusiasts are being urged to bring their prized motors to Worcestershire and help pay for a new hospice.

Malvern car manufacturer Morgan is donating a vehicle for a show at Inkberrow, near Droitwich - and owners are being called upon to display their own vintage motors as well.

The fund-raiser, to take place at Broadclose Farm on Sunday, July 23, from 12.30pm, is in aid of St Richard's Hospice, Worcester.

Based in Rose Hill, it provides support for people with life-threatening illnesses such as cancer and has 70 staff and 600 volunteers.

The hospice is building a new multi-million-pound centre in Spetchley and aims to have it open by the autumn. It needs to generate a further £2.8 million every year.

Organiser Sonia Woolven said: "This will be a lovely summer event with a gorgeous lunch and music and afterwards the chance to enjoy the collection of cars."

Anyone who would like to bring a car can contact Barrie Humphries on 01905 345773. Tickets cost £30, including lunch, and are available on 01905 763963.
