Man held in drugs swoop

POLICE arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences after raiding a house.

The 26-year-old was held after they swooped on a house in Bilston Road, Wednesfield and discovered equipment and drugs paraphernalia.

He was held on suspicion of being concerned in the production and supply of controlled substances before being freed on bail.

Sgt Felicity Keane said: "Anyone who has information about drug dealing in their community should contact local police on 0845 113 5000."
