Woman held over death fall

A WOMAN was today being questioned by police after a man apparently fell to his death from a block of flats in Birmingham.

The 22-year-old man was found with multiple injuries outside the tower block in Kimpson Close, Druids Heath.

Police were called shortly after 8pm yesterday by shocked residents in the tiny cul de sac that overlooks Baverstock School.

The man, who has not yet been named, was taken to Selly Oak Hospital where he died early today.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said it was believed he may have fallen from the flats.

Police are now investigating the circumstances of the death and a post mortem will take place later today.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and was today helping police with their inquiries, he added.
