Murder quiz trio released

THREE men held over the killing of a father of five gunned down in an execution-style killing on his own doorstep have been released by police.

The trio, aged 34, 39 and 40, were arrested by police on Tuesday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder Mohammed Yasin.

The 50-year-old was blasted in the head at close range with a shotgun when he opened his door in Whitehall Road, Bordesley Green, on September 28 last year.

West Midlands Police said the four men had been released without charge.
