Thugs throw paint over baby
Youths threw paint over a baby whose father disturbed them as they smashed his car window in Kidderminster.
The seven-month-old was being carried by its father as he went to confront the youths who were breaking into his Range Rover in Blakedown.
He opened the front door of his home in Belbroughton Road at around 7pm on Sunday when the youths threw a can of black paint at him before making off in a dark-coloured Audi TT with another youth, a spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said.
The baby was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, where the paint was removed, she added.
